When we first bought my home place that which is now the backyard
had cross fences, was over grown, and briar-infested.

We spent the first year cleaning it up, and tearing down the fallen fences. Then we had the pond dug, and started planting trees, flowers, etc. In the picture above you can also see the small rows of privet shrubs we planted to begin our natural arbor walkway.

Walkway Entry

The shrubs now form a 100 ft. walkway to the Circle of Stones.

Small stones have been added to the front of the walkway. Our cats enjoy sitting on them. Trilithons and lintel (cap stone) stand at the northern gateway. Our earth Lady statue watches over the inner circle. We made the 14 ft. pentacle that stands behind the circle out of recycle materials. The trilithons with lintel at the eastern gateway. The Druid statue watches over the inner circle with his trusted winged friend of the air and skies.

The trilithons and lintel at the southern gateway are now standing. The Dragon watches over the inner circle. The trilithons and lintel stand at the western gateway. Our water Lady statue watches over the inner circle.

New Stones around our Circle. These are forming our second Circle, which is our Ancestor Walkway.

Hecate - "our Representation"

Well-worn path to the Goddess Hecate’s area.

Hecate is a very ancient Goddess and her history and origin is very complex. She predated the Greek civilization by centuries and she was known and respected not only throughout the Mediterranean, but also in Asia, North Africa and Western Europe.

Cernunnos - "our Representation"

Cernnunos, a nature and fertility god, has appeared in a multitude of forms and made himself known by many names to nearly every culture throughout time. He is perhaps best known to us now in his Celtic aspects of the untamed Horned God of the Animals and the leaf-covered Green Man, Guardian of the Green World, but He is much older. Cernnunos worked his magic when the first humans were becoming. Our prehistoric ancestors knew him as a shape-shifting, shamanic god of the Hunt. . .
