Tim is building the spiral staircase for inside.
We have removed the temporary stairs in the Tower, and Tim
is welding together the first level of the spiral stair case.
Sanding and painting will be forthcoming.
Copper railings will be added on the staircase when finish.
Tim is cutting the steps to size, and we will be sanding
and staining them when all the welding is completed.
Yes, this is an old jail house door.
It is from an old jail torn down in the Buford Pusser area.
Tim has welded the second level of the stair
case that extends to the roof of the tower.
